Over the past six years, RJ Productions has aided in the establishment of several nightclubs in Southern California. They have produced events for celebrity clientele, national corporations, national touring bands, and currently host some of the largest events in Long Beach, Orange County, and San Diego. They have a passion to help brands get in personal contact with their fan-base through interactive marketing techniques and have a proven track record helping companies get seen.
Robert James
Upon graduation from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in Public Law, founder Robert James turned hosting events in hopes of earning some extra income into an opportunity to develop one of the most prestigious marketing and event firms in Southern California. Named by Long Beach Magazine as of the the city's Most Innovative Minds, Robert has been able to hone his creative business skills to coordinate thousands of acclaimed events.
Matti James
Matti moved from Northern California to Long Beach in 2003 to attend college at CSU Long Beach, through which he met Robert and joined RJ Productions as a VIP Bottle Service host in 2005. He has worked the red carpet at some of Long Beach's largest nightclubs, including the The Basement, V20, and Sachi. After completing graduate school in 2007, Matti took on the position of Director of Operations. Since this time, he has played an important role in the current growth of and expansion of RJ Productions throughout the Southern California area.
Matthew Marchione - Director of Promotions
Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Matt moved to Long Beach in 2005 after accepting a full-ride academic scholarship to CSU Long Beach, where he studies Business Marketing. Prior to joining RJ Productions, Matt was a freelance promoter for various companies from which he established a large network of loyal clients and gained valuable experience in the field of promotions. In 2008, Matt became the newest edition to RJ Productions by becoming the Director of Promotions, in which he continues to lead the company in event sales and fieldwork.
